I was prepared well before getting there, I had good plan--what to see, and I saw everything (almost) what I wanted to see : Place de la Concorde, Champs-Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Tuileries Gardens, Place de l'Étoile, The Invalides museum, the cemeteries of Père Lachaise, the Métro J , bateau-mouche on river Seine, and of course _ Montmartre and Basilica of the Sacré Cœur;
of course it was all just great, i saw lot of things, great things , which i had seen only in TV or read in books.I saw it all with my eyes and touched everything by my hands!
But here I'm going to tell you other story: I met there my french friend and I walked with him whole 2 days from the morning till the night!, we walked all Paris! I saw streets, places, parks, buildings about which i never heard, and i never read anywhere... nut it was true french, i felt there true french soul! and it was great! I met lot of locals, there were no turists (cos simply they didn't know about those places and they didn't have such friends as I had :)
for conlusion: I Think it's the best way to combine this two things _visit bestknown and complitely unknown places, thus you can really DISCOVER the city ! :)
